It is this distinguishing mark that will identify Madeleine to those on the lookout for her, according to aunt and uncle John and Diane McCann.
The Glasgow couple aim to distribute the appeal poster, which features the Crimestoppers telephone number, as far afield as they can.
Family friend Andrew Renwick told Sky News that support for the search had been "overwhelming" and her family were extremely grateful.

Mrs McCann said: "The purpose of the poster is to highlight the distinction in Madeleine's eye.
"We want to make the most of it, because we know her hair could potentially be cut or dyed."
Mr. McCann added: "The poster was designed by a friend of the family and I've begun Emailing it to acquaintances in different parts of the world.
"I'm asking people to circulate it the best they can and make it be seen."

Tôi không thuá»™c hai diện trên. Tôi há»c không tệ, nhÆ°ng cÅ©ng không phải ngôi sao. Mẹ tôi là giáo viên má»™t trÆ°á»ng tiểu há»c vá»›i lÆ°Æ¡ng tháng vài trăm ngàn. Công việc của ba tôi thì cÅ©ng chẳng mấy khi ổn định. Nói chung, tôi là má»™t há»c sinh bình thÆ°á»ng, sinh ra và lá»›n lên trong má»™t gia Ä‘ình cÅ©ng bình thÆ°á»ng. NhÆ°ng tôi chÆ°a bao giá» và sẽ không bao giá» tin vào qui luáºt nhà giàu - du há»c. Suốt cấp II và cấp III, tôi ấp ủ má»™t giấc mÆ¡. Hạnh phúc lắm, tá»± hào lắm. Tá»± hào vì tôi chÆ°a bao giá» bÆ°á»›c vào má»™t trung tâm Anh ngữ đắt tiá»n nào, chỉ há»c trong má»™t lá»›p há»c rất “khiêm tốnâ€, và phần chủ yếu còn lại tôi Ä‘á»c sách và đến các viện bảo tàng để có cÆ¡ há»™i giao tiếp vá»›i ngÆ°á»i nÆ°á»›c ngoài.
ThÆ°Æ¡ng con, ba mẹ tôi cÅ©ng dốc sức chạy vạy để có gần 5.000 USD Ä‘óng phí cho năm giao lÆ°u ấy. Tôi sung sÆ°á»›ng nghÄ© vá» má»™t ngày mai…
NhÆ°ng má»i chuyện Ä‘ã không suôn sẻ nhÆ° váºy. Xót xa khi thấy mẹ tôi gom bao nhiêu thứ tiá»n từ bao nhiêu “ngóc ngách†để Ä‘i đổi từng tá» 100 USD. NhÆ°ng rồi tôi hết sức thất vá»ng cùng nÆ°á»›c mắt khi má»—i lần vào phá»ng vấn là má»™t lần tôi nháºn câu trả lá»i: “Chúng tôi rất tiếc, em không đủ Ä‘iá»u kiện để được cấp visaâ€. Tại sao? Cuối cùng, tôi má»›i vỡ lẽ ra vấn Ä‘á» là ở “hồ sÆ¡ tài chínhâ€. Gia Ä‘ình tôi không thể chứng minh được nguồn thu nháºp má»—i tháng để có thể được xem là kinh tế ổn định.
“Có lẽ du há»c không phải là cánh cá»a dành cho mìnhâ€, tôi Ä‘ã nghÄ© nhÆ° thế. Hụt hẫng và há»n trách cho “số pháºnâ€, tôi bÆ°á»›c vào năm há»c lá»›p 12 má»™t cách chán ngắt. NhÆ°ng rồi tình cá» tôi Ä‘á»c được quyển Hãy can đảm và tốt bụng. Äến bây giá» tôi vẫn thấy Ä‘ó nhÆ° má»™t phép mầu. Quyển sách Ä‘ã dạy tôi rằng: “Nếu giấc mÆ¡ của bạn đủ lá»›n, má»i chuyện sẽ chỉ là vặt vãnhâ€, và trong cuá»™c sống này, “má»i thứ chÆ°a kết thúc khi bạn vẫn còn muốn cố gắngâ€.
Xếp chuyện xÆ°a lại, tôi lao vào má»™t “cuá»™c chiến đấu†má»›i và coi “tất cả là thá» tháchâ€. Tôi lao vào há»c, há»c Ä‘á»u các môn, nhÆ°ng hÆ¡i nhỉnh hÆ¡n tí ở các môn xã há»™i vì ngành tôi chá»n há»c sau này là social work. Tôi dành 10 giá» má»—i tuần để há»c TOEFL bên cạnh việc ôn thi tốt nghiệp và đại há»c. Má»—i chủ nháºt tôi vào các Ä‘á»n chùa, bảo tàng để có cÆ¡ há»™i giao tiếp tiếng Anh vá»›i những khách du lịch, dá»± các há»™i thảo du há»c và tham gia các cuá»™c thi tiếng Anh... Song song Ä‘ó, tôi cÅ©ng Ä‘i làm thêm, phát quảng cáo để có tiá»n trang trải các thứ…
Mặc dù không biết liệu đến bao giá» giấc mÆ¡ của tôi sẽ thành hiện thá»±c, nhÆ°ng tôi vẫn tin, vẫn cố gắng và làm má»i thứ mà mình có thể làm được. Sau gần má»™t năm vất vả, tôi tốt nghiệp cấp III và trúng tuyển vào đại há»c, đạt Toefl 560 (so vá»›i nhiá»u ngÆ°á»i khác, Ä‘ó còn là má»™t số Ä‘iểm “khiêm tốn†nhÆ°ng đối vá»›i riêng tôi, Ä‘ó là kết quả của bao nhiêu ngày tháng kiên trì rèn luyện, là những buổi há»c được đổi bằng tiá»n mồ hôi công sức của chính tôi, của những tá» quảng cáo mà tôi đứng phát ở các trung tâm Anh ngữ sang trá»ng)...
Thế rồi “ngày trá»ng đại†vá»›i tôi cÅ©ng đến. Sau khi ná»™p Ä‘Æ¡n và hai tháng chỠđợi, tôi nháºn được thông báo trúng tuyển vào Äại há»c Quốc gia Singapore (NUS). Trúng tuyển đồng nghÄ©a vá»›i việc Chính phủ Singapore sẽ há»— trợ tôi trong các khoản tiá»n há»c phí, ăn ở… Ngày cầm giấy báo trúng tuyển trên tay, tôi khóc. Mẹ tôi cÅ©ng khóc... Giá»t nÆ°á»›c mắt cho những tháng ngày Ä‘ã qua, cho bao nhiêu lần thất vá»ng rồi lại hi vá»ng, cho những bữa ăn trÆ°á»›c khi Ä‘i há»c chỉ có bánh mì không và nÆ°á»›c lá»c, cho những tá» rÆ¡i tôi kiên trì phát hết Ä‘êm này qua Ä‘êm khác…

On Vacation Please hold messages
I will be leeaving on vacation on the 28th and I would appreciate it if you would old off on messages sent to me please. So far it's off to a great start with the new baby I received last Monday. She's doing great and just beautiful. Hard to leave her for a week and a half but got to go ya know what I mean. So I'll be off down in Marco Island Fl. I'm going to look for big seashells and sharks teeth and hope they are the kinds that have come out of the shark for sure. And not out in me just the sand..LOL..
